Welcome to another edition of RM Interiors Employee Spotlight! We had a chance to speak with Rebecca DeGroff, our accountant in Mesa, Arizona.
She filled us in on her favorite memory at RM, with our infamous speech competitions, and where she sees the flooring trend headed in the future – neutrals will definitely take center stage.
Get to know Rebecca:

What is your role at RM Interiors? What is your favorite part of your job?
I am an Accountant. I love doing reconciliations. Whenever I can get through a project and the numbers match up it gives me a great sense of satisfaction.
What is your favorite memory while working at RM Interiors?
The March Madness Speech competitions. It promotes asking people to get out of their comfort zones and try doing something they have never done before.
Where do you see the trend in flooring going in the next year?
People will want to install natural and more neutral-colored floors.
What do you think sets RM Interiors apart from other companies like us?
RM Interiors values integrity. Many companies only value the bottom line and how to get more profit but here we value doing what is right and that means a great deal to me personally.
What is a hidden gem in your city that everyone should check out?
I don’t know if it’s a hidden gem, but I always love going to the Mesa Temple grounds during Christmas and seeing the Christmas lights displayed there.
After covid, and a 3 year renovation, they will finally be displayed again this year.
When it comes to flooring, do you prefer warm or cool tones?
I prefer warm tones.
What do you wish more people knew about the flooring industry?
I did not realize how big the flooring industry is and it is expected to keep growing.
Product and market innovation, technology and changing lifestyles continue to fuel the growth of the flooring industry. There are so many options now.
